VK Diamonds Warranty Overview

• Lifetime Warranty on Moissanite and Lab-Grown Diamonds
• Manufacturing Warranty on jewelry craftsmanship
• Transparent coverage with no hidden conditions
• Designed to protect your investment with clarity and honesty

Please note: Lifetime Warranty applies exclusively to moissanite and lab-grown diamonds. Jewelry craftsmanship is covered under a manufacturing warranty.

Lifetime Warranty on Moissanite & Lab-Grown Diamonds

VK Diamonds offers a Lifetime Warranty on all moissanite and lab-grown diamonds against manufacturing defects.

This warranty covers the integrity of the stone under normal wear conditions and reflects our confidence in the quality of our gemstones.

VK Diamonds Warranty

VK Diamonds offers a Warranty against any manufacturing defects on all Gold and Platinum jewelry.

Manufacturing defects refer to the jewelry's structure, and most show up within the first few months of wear.

Any defective item resulting from manufacturing will be repaired or replaced by VK Diamonds at no charge.

If a manufacturing defect is confirmed by VK Diamonds, we will cover the reasonable shipping costs associated with the warranty claim.

What is Covered By Our Warranty?

Examples of manufacturing defects covered by our Warranty include:

• Porosity, surface pores, and manufacturing blemishes in the metal.
• Uneven, improperly finished, or defective stone settings resulting from the manufacturing process.
• Rhodium plating defects, including manufacturing stains or uneven application.
• Structural defects in the jewelry resulting from the manufacturing process, such as faulty soldering or assembly issues.

Claiming your Warranty

If you believe your jewelry has a manufacturing issue, please complete the steps below:

  • Contact us about the problem at sales@vkdiamonds.com, and we will arrange an evaluation of your jewelry.
  • Please thoroughly read through what is and what is not covered by our Warranty.
  • We will conduct a free assessment of the jewelry to determine whether the damage is under warranty.
  • If the damage is not under warranty, we will send you a repair quote for your approval.
  • Repairs, alterations, or modifications performed by third parties may void the applicable warranty if they affect the condition of the jewelry or the claimed defect.

  Warranty Exclusions

The Warranty does not cover the following circumstances:

• You changed your mind after purchase, found the item cheaper elsewhere, decided you no longer liked the purchase, or no longer had use for it.
• Misuse, accidental damage, neglect, or improper care of the product.
• Faults or defects that were disclosed to you before purchase.
• Services performed according to your instructions against the advice of VK Diamonds.

Wear and Tear (not covered by Warranty)

All fine jewelry, particularly rings, can be affected by normal wear and everyday activities.

Our manufacturing warranty does not cover damage to jewelry, loss of stones due to accidents, mishandling, or abusive use, theft, or damage from general wear and tear.

Some examples of common jewelry issues that would not be considered manufacturing defects include:

  • Dents, abrasions, and scratches on the settings. Metals are malleable, and over time, they will exhibit signs of wear.
  • We recommend booking a yearly jewelry assessment where a jeweler can check that your stone settings are secure. After a professional cleaning and polish, your ring will look brand new again.
  • Due to wear and tear or accidents, the gemstones have chips, scratches, nicks, and breakages. Diamonds are the hardest natural gemstones, and moissanite is one of the hardest gemstones used in jewelry. However, neither gemstone is indestructible. A gemstone can chip or crack if it is hit or knocked at a certain angle. Regardless of the impact force, a gemstone is highly susceptible to breaking when hit along its weakest part (usually the edges or girdle).
  • Gemstones with exposed edges, such as in a prong setting, are at higher risk of sustaining damage.
  • Pits and holes in your setting are created by exposure to corrosive chemicals, e.g., chlorine bleach, heavy cleaning products.
  • The discoloration of precious metals is caused by chemicals, makeup, exposure to chlorine in pools and hot tubs, or bathing.
  • Precious metals (especially claws and bands) can wear down over time and may need to be restored as part of normal wear.
  • Prongs that get caught, bent, or worn down by everyday wear allow a stone to fall out.
  • The loss of a gemstone is caused by damage from everyday wear or other damage.
  • Our Warranty is only valid with proof of purchase and if the jewelry has not been altered.

Loose Gemstones

Loose gemstones are covered by our Lifetime Warranty against manufacturing defects only.

The warranty does not cover accidental damage, chipping, scratching, breakage, loss, or damage caused by mishandling or normal wear.

As loose gemstones are selected and approved based on the specifications, photos, and videos provided before shipment, differences in personal preference regarding color, appearance, or perceived size after delivery do not constitute a manufacturing defect.
